The Friends are kept up to date with events connected with, or taking place in Hyde Park and Kensington Gardens. Some events are organised exclusively for the Friends, while others are open to the general public. For Hyde Park Events: Click Here
Looking back over the last couple of years, members enjoyed special visits to Winter Wonderland, the Old Police House stables, Kensington Palace, Albert Memorial Undercroft, as well as a perfumed reverie in the Hyde Park Nurseries. The annual summer party in Hyde Park was a great success in Hyde Park, always accompanied with wine and nibbles. We were looked after on all these occasions by expert and very hospitable hosts.

This is an invitation to you, as a member of The Friends of Hyde Park and Kensington Gardens, to join the Charity’s 2024 Annual General Meeting.
The meeting will be held by kind invitation of Graham Alderton on behalf of the LookOut team. Below is a map illustrating how to reach the LookOut location in Hyde Park. There are signposts around the Park.

The Band of the Mercian Regiment will be travelling from the Midlands. We’re confident that they will make a splendid sound and will give us a fine start to the season.
Bandstand Concert: Orquesta Mambarito Salsa band
Sunday 1st September 14.30 to 16.30
Orquesta Mambarito Salsa band with Victor Marchangioli, attract a large following. The costumes and dancing are spectacular. Join in for a dance.
Bandstand Concert: South London Jazz Orchestra
Sunday 8th September 14.00 to 16.30
South London Jazz Orchestra (SLJO) will be playing their superb brand of swing and big band tunes.
Bandstand Concert: Epsom and Ewell Silver Band
Sunday 15th September 14.30 to 16.30
Epsom and Ewell Silver Band. This is the first time the band has played for us, so we want a good turn-out to give them a ‘Friends’ warm welcome.
